2020 Audi RS Q3 Spotted With Wide Body At The Nurburgring.

2020 Audi RS Q3 Spotted With Wide Body At The Nurburgring.

As we wait for Volkswagen to finally present the Tiguan R, we are excited about its brother and sister Audi, whose specifications are superior. This is the RS Q3, which we know will be officially launched before the end of the year on the basis of a product roadmap published by the Spanish division at the end of January.

The confirmed debut of RS Q3 in Europe in 2019 is somewhat surprising as Audi has not yet presented its SQ3. We have seen many prototypes with Quad exhaust tips specific to S, but currently, there is no indication of when the official launch is scheduled. It could be introduced in the coming months as part of the preparations for the launch of the big RS Q3.

Audi Sport's flagship Q3 model was presented again at the Nürburgring as a partially coated prototype. The camouflage is not really hidden and we can see what appears to be the standard body with the strongest wheel arches and massive air intakes. The large front axle grippers and oval exhaust systems show that this is not an ordinary version of the luxury SUV, while the reduced driving height also indicates the direction of power dissipation.

To separate the Tiguan R from the RS Q3, the VW group will install a four-cylinder in the first and a powerful five-cylinder in the second. The 2.5-liter unit will produce around 400 hp or up to 414 hp. The Quattro's four-wheel drive is natural, a bit like an automatic transmission because we can't hold our breath for manual operation.

In addition to the introduction of an RS Q3 and most likely an SQ3, Audi Sport is also planning several other SUVs, such as the SQ8 and RS Q8.
